I'm getting tired of having to make these kinds of threads:

It is believed that Shawn Michaels suffered a triceps tear at tonight's Raw taping in St. Louis. That's the current word going around backstage.

No Cena and now possibly no HBK. You gotta be kidding me. NOW I think they need to bring over either Trips or Taker after Unforgiven if he's out for a while with a triceps tear.

We'll be watching this story closely today!

A Bundy never wins, but a Bundy never quits.
That sucks. Hopefully it's not as serious as being reported.

I hope hes ok. Although I know that he wanted to have some time off. Unforunately the only way hes going to get that is by being injured. But I hope its not serious.

To me, to be a conservative means to conserve the good parts of America and to conserve our Constitution.
Not that it matters in light of injury, but I was really looking forward to Jericho/Michaels at Unforgiven. Hopefully the injury isn't as severe as initially reported and the match can still happen without any real risk for Michaels. I think having Jericho demolish Michaels at Unforgiven and put him again would be good for the feud, which I hope will culminate in a Michaels victory at WM25.

Here's to hoping he's okay and/or has a speedy (yet healthy) recovery.

-- As reported earlier, Shawn Michaels suffered a serious triceps injury at last night's Raw taping in St. Louis, Missouri. He is getting the injury evaluated by doctors today. After last night's show, Michaels said he was working his match with Chris Jericho at Unforgiven no matter what. Nothing has been said regarding the match being pulled, but of course, the doctors may say otherwise today. Long-term, Michaels is probably going to be out for four to six months.

A tricep tear is something that looks nasty and can be easily seen a mile away. I have no idea how these two can work a very delicate "work angle" that knocks HBK out for the necessary storyline. If the doctors come back with the bad news, I can't see this match happening.

Hey man your clock won't flush!!!

WWE has confirmed that after a comprehensive examination, it has been determined that Shawn Michaels suffered a small tear on his left tricep during the Raw taping on Sunday night in St. Louis and is not expected to need surgery. Michaels is still scheduled to face Chris Jericho at Unforgiven this Sunday.

Michaels had the following to say about the injury: "Before the MRI my doctor was 99.9 percent sure that I had a full tear of my triceps and that I would experience bruising, swelling and a loss of my range of motion. Through the power of prayer, none of those things happened and I am ready for Unforgiven. Regardless of what the MRI revealed, I made it clear that I was going forward with this match."

I really like HBK he is a good wrestler I just hope he dose not end up making his injury worse as that will take him out for even longer we have already lost Cena.

After being evaluated by doctors, Shawn Michaels triceps injury will not require surgery. He has been cleared to wrestle this Sunday at WWE Unforgiven PPV according to WWE.com. Michaels commented on his injury: "Before the MRI my doctor was 99.9 percent sure that I had a full tear of my triceps and that I would experience bruising, swelling and a loss of my range of motion. Through the power of prayer, none of those things happened and I am ready for Unforgiven."

HBK is way overdue to take some much needed time off. I think this storyline with Jericho has gone as far as it can and it needs to end here. I think what needs to happen, booking wise, is that both Jericho and HBK basically destroy each other and HBK wins by the thinnest possible margin. HBK can then leave for x amount of time to get healed up. The storyline already sets it up as him taking a risk against doctor's direct orders anyways, so it works out perfectly. Jericho can take a week or two off to sell any injuries or whatever and move on to the next feud.

I say HBK needs to retire at WM....the storyline builds right into the Flair/HBK from last year. Some one wants to retire HBK, they want to "Sacrifice" him on the biggest stage. I am thinking....either, Orton or possibly a Heel Punk, or Trips

Or Taker. That's about it.

I'd be shocked if they gave Punk such a vital, important role like that but I guess you never know.

Regardless, HBK can't have much more in him. The difference between Flair and HBK is that although Flair wrestled longer, HBK wrestled harder. HBK's body can't hold up much longer, and I think he'd be smart to take an out of ring character role. Perhaps GM.

I agree. It's become increasingly risky, especially since he's been WAY overdue to take time off anyways.
