He does, I say until he fails a test let him be. I've seen the guys work regime and it's no surprise he's so jacked, the guy is a workhorse in the gym. |

To me, to be a conservative means to conserve the good parts of America and to conserve our Constitution.

Amir Sadollah, the winner of last season's Ultimate Fighter, is out of Saturday night's UFC fight with Nick Catone due to a leg infection. An attempt to get a new opponent for Catone on short notice was unsuccessful, so the match is off the card. Dustin Hazelett vs. Tamdan McCrory, scheduled as a prelim, has been moved to the live show. The UFC has sent top ten heavyweight contender Fabricio Werdum packing after he suffered a knockout loss to little known Junior Dos Santos at UFC 90 two weeks ago. The Chute Boxe fighter was promised a title shot if would have been able to walk away victorious, now he finds himself unemployed. Current champ Randy Couture will be defending his title against Brock Lesnar this weekend at UFC 91, with the winner to unifty the title against the victor of the interim champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira bouts against Fank Mir’s at UFC 92. If Werdum could have beaten Dos Santos, he would have taken on the unified champion later in 2009. The reason for his exit from the world’s largest MMA organization seems to circle around the inability of both parties to successfully renegotiate his contract. The UFC was looking to cut Werdum’s pay, as he has now posted a meger 2-2 record for the promotion. Werdum wasn’t prepared to do that. Werdum is already in negotiations with other MMA promotions. If he is still interested in competing in the US, he would most likely sign with Affliction Entertainment, as their non-exclusive contracts would allow the fighter to compete one of Japan’s promotions as well. |

That sucks about Amir, I was looking forward to seeing him, especially since he's billed as being from Richmond (though he's from New York) Either way I'm getting the ppv this weekend and will drop my thoughts here afterward. Should be a good card, as should the Dec. one as that card is just stacked. |

http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news?slug=ki-silvagriffin042909&prov=yhoo&type=lgns Anderson Silva vs Forrest Griffin for UFC 101 in August. I'm a big Griffin fan and regardless of the outcome I expect this to be much more exciting than Silva's last two. |

Yeah I'm still surprised over that one, it's not so much that I didn't think Machida could win it's just that I didn't expect him to KO Evans. |

After watching the special on Spike TV last week, I have to admit I was fully on Machida's side here... He's got real breakout potential. Too bad he couldn't have done this same thing to Tito Ortiz in their fight (even though he did dominate there) or he would already be a huge draw for the company. Wikipedia says his next fight is with Quinton Jackson, depending on which Quinton shows up, we could have a real asskicking on our hands.. although I'm not sure which way it will go... |

No, Silva is gonna come up to 205. As much weight as Forrest has to cut to make 205 there is no way he could cut anymore |

This will be interesting for ratings, but I don't see him making it to the finals...

Well, it never gets old seeing him get his ass handed to him, so hopefully they'll sign him up as an 'enhancement talent' lol... |

I'll be at a bachelor party where I think they'll be showing it. I'm always up for seeing Lesnar fight, so I will watch when it gets to his fight |

Waiting to hear how the Lesnar fight goes. This is a make or break fight for Brock here (not that they should can him if he loses mind you) because he has a chance to show the first loss was just bad luck and his own inexperience from it being his second fight. He needs to win, and win strong here, and if he can do so, I don't see how ANYONE can be able to question his legitmate right to wear the UFC HW title. I also liked Joe Rogan's comments in the pre-fight special that said "Standing up and going toe to toe with that big f'n gorrilla is like playing tennis against a brick wall... you're gonna lose every time..." Which Mir may try to do here since his last impressive KO victory over Big Nog was against a guy who before then had (I believe) never been KO'd in numerous brutal fights (including some against Fedor himself).. Gonna be an interesting spectacle to say the least. More tension and drama in this fight than in just about any pro-wrestling angle I can think of right now. |
