Been playing MLB '10 The Show quite a bit lately. Finally getting in a groove at the plate now that I've gotten my settings tuned in. Last night I beat the Astros 3-1 with Atlanta, then turned around today and lost 6-5 in 12 innings in a rematch. Was down 5-1 going to the bottom of the 7th where I scored one run, then three more to tie it in the 8th. Got a 1 out pinch hit triple in the 9th, but just couldn't bring the run across. Tonight I jumped on the Red Sox 8-3 with the Orioles, got five runs off Clay Buckholtz with two outs in the first  One minor gripe, the damn Nationals just won't trade Stephen Strasburg.

Finally beat Arkham Asylum, though not at 100% yet. Still left some Riddler stuff unfound. I'll probably get back to it later. |

Knocked out another two levels on Turok tonight, six more to go according to the walk-through I'm using. Hoping to get this beaten before the start of next week. Not a bad little shooter...not great, but it has it's own little shoot'em up charm once you get into it(and of course, using the bow is awesome). |

It got the blinking red light of death. So we may be able to clean it out really well and it may work again, if not we have to reset the hardrive...I dont know if my saved games will still be on it. So if no thats 100+ hours of dragon age gone, and 36 hours of final fantasy. |

HD should be ok. I've seen that light before once or twice. For me it happened on some firmware chokes and overheating which was my fault. See if you can clean it and see if you can get into a place where it can breathe easier depending on where you had it. I find that my newer PS3 Slim behaves WAY better than the older PS3s and barely puts out any heat at all. The launch day PS3 and even worse the 360 were small little furnaces in my room even out in the wide open. So don't feel like it's your fault or anything like that.

I would have traded it in if it werent one of the only 60 gig completely backwards compatible ones out there. |
